The Service includes all associated features, functionalities, software, updates, and any new tools that PDFBolt may add over time. PDFBolt reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service or its features at any time, with or without notice, and will not be liable to users or any third party for such modifications.


By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • Age Requirement: You are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under this age requirement, you must not use PDFBolt.
  • Legal Authority: You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract and agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.

This includes, but is not limited to, changes in your email address, payment details, or any other information relevant to the use of your account. Failing to provide accurate information or update it as necessary may result in suspension of the Service.

  • Compliance with Terms: By registering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements outlined in these Terms and agree to comply fully with them.

4.2 Account Security

The security of your account and the information it contains is critical. By registering and using an account, you agree to the following responsibilities and limitations:

  • Safeguarding Credentials: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your email address, password, and any API keys, or other security features associated with the account. You agree to take all necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

  • Notification of Unauthorized Access: You agree to immediately notify PDFBolt if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, including any security breach that could affect the integrity of your account or other users’ data. Notification should be made to PDFBolt’s contact email: contact@pdfbolt.com.

  • Liability for Unauthorized Access: PDFBolt is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account if the unauthorized access is due to your failure to protect your account credentials. This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, data loss, or any damages arising from unauthorized actions performed using your account.

Security Practices
  • We recommend using a strong, unique password to enhance your account security.
  • Be cautious with the devices where you save your password; avoid storing passwords on shared or public computers and ensure your device security settings are up to date.
  • Avoid using simple or commonly used passwords, and consider using a secure password manager to help protect and manage your credentials effectively.

4.3 Account Termination

PDFBolt reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account without prior notice under the following conditions:

  • Violation of Terms: If you breach any provision of these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that PDFBolt determines, at its sole discretion, is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties, PDFBolt reserves the right to terminate your account immediately.

  • Security Risks: If your account activity poses a security risk to PDFBolt, the Service, or other users, PDFBolt may suspend or terminate your access to prevent further harm. Security risks include, but are not limited to:

    • Suspicious account activity.
    • Unauthorized access attempts.
    • Sharing of account credentials with unauthorized parties.

  • Interference with Service: Any behavior that disrupts, damages, or interferes with the Service’s operations, or the security of other users or third parties, will result in the suspension or termination of your account.

  • Consequences of Termination: Upon termination, you will lose access to all features of the Service associated with your account, including any data or content you have stored within the Service. PDFBolt reserves the right to retain, delete, or anonymize your data in accordance with its data retention policies and as required by applicable law.

If your account is terminated, you may not be eligible to create a new account or access the Service in any other way without prior written approval from PDFBolt.

4.4 API Key Security

  • All API Keys provided to users must be securely stored and managed by the user.
  • Users are strictly prohibited from sharing or disclosing API Keys to third parties, as unauthorized use can compromise security.
  • Any unauthorized use of an API Key must be reported to PDFBolt.
  • For added control, users have the option to disable any API Key directly in the app under the API Key section.

5. Use of Service

By using the Service, you agree to adhere to all applicable laws and these Terms to ensure a safe and secure experience for all users. Misuse of the Service, including any illegal or unauthorized activities, may result in suspension or termination of your account, and PDFBolt reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities as required by law.

5.1 Permissible Use

You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Service or use it to create, host, transmit, or distribute any content that:

  • Infringes upon the intellectual property rights or privacy of others.
  • Contains viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • Facilitates or promotes fraudulent activities, including phishing, identity theft, or misrepresentation.
  • Violates the privacy rights of others by collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information without proper authorization.
  • Is intended to deceive or mislead users by generating fake documents, credentials, or fraudulent materials.
  • Is otherwise unlawful, illegal, or prohibited under applicable law.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

By adhering to these guidelines, you help ensure that PDFBolt remains a safe, reliable, and lawful platform for all users. You agree not to:

  • Unauthorized Access and Security Interference: Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service or access parts of the Service that you do not have authorization for.
  • Service Disruption: Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service’s performance, including activities such as hacking, data mining, or other unauthorized actions that compromise service integrity.
  • Excessive API Requests: Create automated scripts, bots, or make excessive API requests that exceed the usage limits specified in your subscription plan, as this can degrade performance for other users.
  • Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service, as PDFBolt’s proprietary technology is protected.
  • Legal Compliance: Use the Service in any manner that could violate applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to laws concerning cybercrime, fraud, and identity theft.
  • Unsolicited Advertising: Send any form of unsolicited advertising, junk mail, spam, or chain letters through the Service.
  • Malicious Content: Upload or transmit any content containing viruses, malware, or harmful code that could disrupt the Service or compromise user data.
  • Misrepresentation and Impersonation: Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity while using the Service.

5.3 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for any content you submit to the Service, including its legality, accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness. PDFBolt has no responsibility for monitoring or verifying the content but reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms.


6. Payment, Billing, and Subscription Plans

6.1 Fees and Payment

Certain features of the Service require a subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen subscription plan. PDFBolt reserves the right to modify its pricing or introduce new fees at any time, with prior notice provided.

6.2 Subscription and Renewal

  • Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually, as selected in your plan.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription.
  • Billing Information: You agree to keep your billing information current and accurate to ensure uninterrupted access to the Service.

6.3 Late Payments and Service Suspension

If payment is not received on time, PDFBolt may suspend your access to the Service until the outstanding payment is received in full. During this suspension period, you will be unable to use any features of the Service that require an active subscription. Any unpaid fees are subject to collection efforts.

6.4 Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. If you terminate your account, you will not receive a refund for any subscription fees paid.

6.5 Subscription Management and Refunds

You can modify your subscription at any time, including upgrades and downgrades, through the account settings.

Payment Processing
  • All payments are securely processed through Stripe, our trusted third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s Privacy Policy and its terms of service. PDFBolt does not store or handle your payment information directly, as this is managed solely by Stripe.
  • Stripe is responsible for securely processing and protecting your payment data. Any issues related to payment processing, refunds, or chargebacks should be directed to Stripe in accordance with their policies.

7. Data Privacy and Security

7.1 Commitment to Data Privacy

PDFBolt is committed to protecting your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to PDFBolt’s data collection, usage, and storage practices as outlined in the policy.

7.2 Compliance with Data Protection Laws

PDFBolt complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations. If you process personal data through PDFBolt, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, including obtaining necessary consents and notifying individuals as required by law.

7.3 Data Security Measures

PDFBolt implements technical and organizational measures to secure your data and prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While we take extensive steps to protect your information, PDFBolt cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding the data you transmit to and from our Service.

7.4 User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable data protection and privacy laws. By using PDFBolt, you agree to:

  • Limit Sensitive Personal Data: You agree not to store or share sensitive personal data (such as health records, financial details, Social Security numbers, or other personally identifiable information) on the Service unless it is strictly necessary and legally authorized to do so.   • Understand Service Limitations: PDFBolt is designed for general document processing and may not meet the specific security requirements for highly sensitive or regulated data types. You are responsible for determining whether the Service meets your data protection needs, especially if you are processing sensitive or regulated data.

PDFBolt is not liable for any data breaches, security incidents, or regulatory violations resulting from your improper use of the Service, failure to follow security best practices, or unauthorized sharing of sensitive data.

7.5 Data Retention

PDFBolt retains user-generated documents and transaction records solely for processing purposes. By default, all files are deleted after 48 hours. Users may request deletion of records in accordance with their preferences.


PDFBolt may disclose your account information to comply with lawful requests, such as subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. We will limit the information disclosed to only that required to comply with such legal obligations.

8.1 Cooperation with Law Enforcement

PDFBolt reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies, and court orders that require us to disclose information related to illegal, unauthorized, or otherwise harmful use of the Service. You agree that PDFBolt may provide such information without liability to you.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

9.1 Ownership and Use of Content

All content, software, and materials provided by PDFBolt, including trademarks, logos, and trade secrets, are the exclusive property of PDFBolt or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service solely for your internal business or personal purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

9.2 Restrictions on Use

  • You may not use any PDFBolt trademarks, logos, or proprietary graphics without explicit written consent from PDFBolt. Additionally, you are prohibited from reverse engineering, duplicating, or creating derivative works from any PDFBolt intellectual property without prior authorization.

  • You may not sublicense, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any proprietary content provided by PDFBolt, including logos, trademarks, and service marks, without prior written consent.

  • These restrictions are in place to protect PDFBolt’s intellectual property rights and to ensure that all users comply with legal standards regarding proprietary content and branding.

9.3 User-Generated Content

By submitting content to PDFBolt, you grant PDFBolt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license is limited to the operation and delivery of the Service, and PDFBolt does not claim ownership over your content.


10. Termination of Service

10.1 Termination by PDFBolt

PDFBolt reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, under the following circumstances:

  • Violation of Terms: If you breach any provision of these Terms, including but not limited to prohibited activities, misuse of the Service, or failure to comply with account responsibilities.

  • Harmful Conduct: If your actions, whether directly or indirectly, harm other users, third parties, or negatively impact PDFBolt’s reputation. This includes actions that disrupt the Service’s performance, interfere with other users’ experience, or tarnish PDFBolt’s brand or public image.

  • Illegal or Unethical Activities: If you are found to be engaging in or promoting activities deemed illegal, unethical, or fraudulent. This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as generating false or deceptive documents, unauthorized access to other users' data, or any form of hacking, phishing, or identity theft. PDFBolt may also terminate accounts involved in content distribution that violates intellectual property rights or personal privacy.

In such cases, PDFBolt reserves the right to take immediate action to protect its interests, including suspending access to the Service, disabling account functionalities, or permanently terminating your account. All outstanding fees will remain due, and PDFBolt shall not be liable for any loss of data or access resulting from such termination.

10.2 Termination by User

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, you will not receive a refund for any fees paid, and access to the Service will be revoked at the end of your billing cycle.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service, and PDFBolt may delete any content associated with your account. PDFBolt reserves the right to retain or delete certain data as required by law.


11. Disclaimer of Warranties

11.1 Service Provided "As Is"

PDFBolt provides the Service on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties, express or implied. PDFBolt expressly disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 11.2 No Guarantee of Results

PDFBolt does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that it will meet your specific requirements. You assume full responsibility for your use of the Service and the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of any results generated by the Service.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFBolt and its affiliates, officers, and employees are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to data loss, lost profits, or reputational harm.

PDFBolt’s total liability for any claims related to the Service is capped at the total amount received from you. Claims exceeding this amount will not be honored. This limitation applies regardless of the claim’s nature, basis, or source, whether arising in contract, tort, or any other legal framework, and encompasses all types of damages, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages.
